# Financial Role

> Understand the Financial role's permissions and access scope for managing charges across orders, shipments, and transactions.

## Overview

The Financial role gives users specific access to manage the financial aspects of the system. Users with this role can view and manage all **charges** related to orders, shipments, and other transactions.

<Info>The Financial role is focused exclusively on charge management. It does not grant access to stock, reports, accounts, or broader system settings.</Info>

## What Financial users can do

* View and manage all **charges** within the system
* Handle costs and pricing details across operations
* Adjust charges for individual orders

## What Financial users cannot do

* Access stock management or reports
* Create or edit accounts or warehouses
* Process payments (payment processing typically falls outside this role)
