Create the BOM product
From the left-hand menu, click Products, then select + New. Fill in the Code, Description, Stock Unit Type, and Account. Set the Product Type to Bill of Materials. Optionally add a Long Description and choose Storage Unit Types. Click Save and Edit.

Complete product details
Fill in the sections for Unit Items (barcode, weight, value, output quantity, dimensions), Cases, Inner, and Outer. Configure Flags (New Product, Stop, Obsolete, Assemble on Pick). Set Receipt and Pick options (shelf life, default configurations). Click Save after each section.

Build the BOM (Materials section)
In the Materials section, click + New. Select the child product from the dropdown, enter the Quantity needed for the parent product, and click Save. Repeat for additional items.

Configure additional sections
- Alternative Codes: Add different product codes for various users
- Product Storage Units: Add or edit storage units
- Warehouse Routes: Assign routes with account, customer, and warehouse codes
- Pickfaces: Configure locations with min/max triggers if needed
There is no single βmaster saveβ button. You must save each section as you go.
