Product storage units define which storage unit types a product can be received in. Setting them up ensures flexibility and accuracy when receiving stock.

Go to the Products menu

Navigate to the Products section in the system.

Select the product

Choose the specific product you want to configure.

Open the Product Storage Units tab

Scroll to the Product Storage Units tab, where you manage the different storage unit types for the product.

Add a new storage unit

Click New to add a storage unit type to the product.
If a storage unit type has not been assigned to a product, you will not be able to select it during the receiving process for that product.
Once you have set up storage units, the next time you receive that product, you will be able to choose from any of the assigned storage unit types.

Frequently asked questions
