If you declined or postponed MFA at sign-in and want to turn it on now, you can do it from your account’s Security Settings.
Gradual rollout: Multi-factor authentication is being rolled out gradually, organisation by organisation. You may not see it on your account yet — that’s expected. Once it’s available, you’ll be prompted on your next sign-in.

Enable MFA

1

Open Security Settings

From the left-hand navigation, open your user profile and select Security Settings. This is the same area you use to change your password.
2

Choose Enable MFA

Find the Multi-Factor Authentication section and click Enable MFA.
3

Follow the setup steps

A QR code will appear. Follow the steps in Set Up MFA to scan it with your authenticator app and verify the first code.
Once enabled, MFA stays on until you turn it off — see Disable MFA in Security Settings.

I can’t see Security Settings or the Enable MFA option

A few reasons this can happen:
  • Your role may not have access to security settings. Contact your administrator.
  • MFA may not be available for your organisation yet. See the gradual rollout note above.
If you’re stuck, see MFA Issues or contact your administrator.
