Templates overview

Templates control the structure and appearance of key warehouse documents — picking lists, receipts, dispatch notes, invoices, and labels. Each account can have different templates assigned for different document types.

Finding and applying templates

Go to the Accounts screen

Navigate to the Accounts screen and select the account you want to configure.

Open the Default Templates tab

Go to the Default Templates tab. Here you can choose and apply templates specific to that account.

Select templates

Use the dropdown menu to select different templates for each process.

Common template types

TemplatePurpose
Put AwayControls how storage units containing goods are stored
Receipt Storage Unit LabelsShows how many pallets are in a storage unit
Picking NoteDisplays picking lists, including picked and unpicked items
Pick Storage Unit LabelsLabels for the number of pallets picked for delivery
Dispatch NoteSummarises dispatched pallets and lists the products
InvoiceDisplays product costs, sundry charges, and total costs

Picking note template options

  • Default Template — lists items without specific order
  • Picking List by Location — arranges items alphabetically by location
  • Picking List by Product — groups items based on products
  • Picking List by Picking Type — separates full and partial picks for easier tracking

Dispatch note template options

  • 4x10 Pallet Label with Logo
  • Retail with Account Logo
  • A4 Portrait Dispatch Note
Each template presents details like pallet numbers, products, and storage units in various formats.
Can I change the format of a picking list?Yes, by selecting different templates, you can arrange picking lists by location, product, or picking type.Can I switch between templates easily?Yes, use the dropdown menu in the Default Templates tab to switch between templates at any time.
