Charge Windows: What They Are and How to Create One

What Is a Charge Window?

A charge window defines the time period during which charges are applied to customer accounts. Charges can run on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Access charge window settings

From the left-hand menu, click Charges then Charge Windows. This displays all existing charge windows.

Create a new charge window

Click +Add Charge Window to begin setup.

Enter charge window details

Fill in the following fields:

Name: Give the charge window a clear name (e.g., “Weekly Storage Charge”).
Frequency: Choose either Day or Month from the dropdown.
- Day: Pick specific days of the week (e.g., Sunday to Sunday) or choose all days for daily charges.
- Month: A calendar will appear. Select the specific days within the month when charges should run.

Save the charge window

Click Save to activate the charge window.

After creating the charge window, your next step is to set up a Charge Card that defines the actual charges applied during the specified window.
