Pre-Receipt, Put Away Note, and Storage Unit Labels

Once a goods receipt reaches Received status, three document types become available. Each serves a different purpose in tracking and managing your inbound goods.

Pre-Receipt

The Pre-Receipt is a printable PDF summary of the expected goods. It can be generated when the receipt is in Pending, Received, or Completed status. Click the Pre-Receipt button to generate the document. It includes:
  • Pre-Receipt Number, Reference, and Company Logo
  • Warehouse, Account, Supplier, and Carrier
  • Expected Date of Receipt, Order Type, and GI Type
  • Product lines with Code, Description, Storage Unit Type, Quantity, Storage Unit Quantity, Storage Unit Reference, Sell By Date, and Batch Number

Put Away Note

The Put Away Note provides staff with clear instructions on where goods should be stored. Click the Put Away Note button to generate a PDF containing product details and their designated storage locations within the warehouse.

Storage Unit Labels

Storage Unit Labels are printed and attached directly to pallets or other storage units for identification. Click the Storage Unit Label button to generate a PDF of the labels, then print and attach them to your goods.
When can I print a Pre-Receipt?You can print a Pre-Receipt when the receipt is in Pending, Received, or Completed status.Can I reprint storage unit labels?Yes. Click the Storage Unit Label button at any time to regenerate and print labels.What if I need to amend the Pre-Receipt?Adjust the receipt in the system first, then regenerate the Pre-Receipt with the updated information.
