You can create storage units that are either available across all warehouses or restricted to a single warehouse. Confining a storage unit to a specific warehouse helps keep your inventory organised.

Navigate to storage units

From the main screen, go to Settings > Storage Units.

Create a new storage unit

Click New to begin creating your storage unit.

Fill in the details

Enter the required information, including the type and name of the storage unit. To restrict the unit to a particular warehouse, select that warehouse from the available options. If you leave the warehouse field blank, the unit will be available across all warehouses.

Activate the storage unit

Ensure the Active toggle is set to Yes. This makes the storage unit ready for use.
If the warehouse field is left blank, the storage unit can be used in any warehouse.
