Consolidated Picking

Consolidated picking combines multiple sales orders into one picking list, making your warehouse operations more efficient and boosting productivity.
1

Navigate to warehouse settings

Go to Settings > Warehouses > Show to access the settings for your chosen warehouse.
2

Enable consolidated picking

In the General section, find the Consolidated Picking toggle and switch it to Yes.
Once activated, certain requirements must be met for consolidated picking to work correctly.
3

Meet requirements for consolidated picking

For orders to be consolidated, they must meet these conditions:
  • Matching Accounts: All orders must belong to the same customer account.
  • Matching Warehouses: Orders must be linked to the same warehouse.
  • Order Status: All orders must be saved and have a Pending status.
If these conditions are not met, the system will not allow the orders to be consolidated.
4

On the Sales Order Data Grid screen, tick the checkboxes next to the orders you want to consolidate. The Consolidate & Process Picks option will appear at the bottom.Click it and fill in the required details:
  • Reference: A unique ID for the pick.
  • Expected Date of Dispatch: The date you expect the goods to be sent out.
  • Goods Out Bay: The area where goods are ready for shipping.
The system will generate the consolidated picklist.
5

Complete the picking process

After the consolidated picking list is created, the rest of the picking and dispatch process continues as normal.
Key benefits of consolidated picking include increased efficiency by grouping tasks, time savings by reducing repetitive actions, and improved accuracy in inventory management.
