Pick Optimisation
Pick optimisation improves how stock is picked based on your chosen pick rule. There are two strategies to choose from.
Storage Unit Breakdown Avoidance
Prioritises picking full storage units while still following your chosen pick rule. This reduces handling time and minimises partial picks.
Best for: High-volume orders where speed is crucial, as it avoids splitting storage units.
Stock Rotation
Ensures picks strictly follow your chosen pick rule, even if it means breaking down storage units. This guarantees accurate stock rotation.
Best for: Regulated products or situations where strict stock rotation is mandatory.
You can only choose one optimisation strategy at a time — either Storage Unit Breakdown Avoidance or Stock Rotation.
You can change the optimisation strategy at any time by accessing the account settings.
