Location Import via SFTP

You can create warehouse locations in bulk by uploading a CSV via SFTP, rather than adding each one by hand. This is ideal when setting up a new warehouse or a large zone.

Template: standard_location_import_template.csv — download it, fill in your data, and upload it via SFTP.

Key fields

The template includes every available column. The essentials are:

Field	Purpose
`Code`	Unique location code
`Warehouse Code`	Warehouse the location belongs to
`Location Type`	e.g. `PICK`
`Zone` / `Aisle` / `Column` / `Row` / `Slot`	Position coordinates
`Walk Sequence`	Pick-walk ordering
`Check Digit`	Optional location check digit
`Allow Putaway` / `Allow Picking`	Whether the location can be used for each
`Active`	Whether the location is in use
`Is Pickface`	Whether the location is a pickface

Capacity limits (Max Pallets, Max Items, Max Weight, Max Height, …) and mixing rules (Mix Accounts, Mix Products, Mix Batches, …) are also in the template — set them as needed.
